Battle With Dragon

Well, it’s been a good long while since I’ve had any major battles, but to that is about to change. I am now king of my homeland, Finland. And, today a huge fire breathing dragon has attack my kingdom and burned some of my people alive. I will not stand for this. I might be old, but I will not hide in fear. I am a great warrior, and it’s time to settle this once and for all. I have gathered a few men to help make sure that this god-awful nuisance is taken out of my kingdoms worries. We have marched up to the dragon’s lair and I’m about to attack. I’m no at the lair and I can’t help but notice the gold that’s stored in the dragon’s lair. That can help my people. And the battle is on. This one’s going to be a hard battle. My sword does close to nothing. The dragon is shooting fire at me, luckily I have my shield. Oh, no! the shield is melting, and im feeling dizzy…… I don’t remember much, just the sound of the flames, the sound of someone yelling, and my cousin Wiglif running to my aid. I just found out that I have poison running through my veins, and I will be dying soon. I’ll leave this great kingdom to Wiglif, makie my way to the Halls of Valhalla………

The Battle With Grendels Mother

We celebrated the victory against the twisted spawn of murder, Grendel. And while we were getting a decent nights rest, the kingdom was attacked again. Come to find out it was the wretched she-wolf, Grendel’s mother. I found out that she lives in a lake in the marsh. So, I went to the vile nuisance’s hideous home. The water was as black as coal, and looked as though it was burning torch. The trees were bare with snakelike roots that slithered there way into the dark abyss of the lake. And there was a waterfall that shot dark gray mist through the air as though there was a raging fire. I dove into the without a second thought determined to find the evil she-wolf, erase her from the planet, and gain more fame and glory. I swam down for what felt like hours, but finally I found her. She snatched me up and took me to an underwater battle hall. My weapons were useless. She was enchanted. Mere mortal weapons could not harm this wicked yet admirable opponent. She had me down and I thought that that id finally met my match until I noticed an enchanted sword on the wall, forged by the hands of a giant. I broke loose , grabbed the sword, and severed her hideous head. It took so long to beat this water-witch and get back to the surface that my men thought that I had been beat by her… HA! Like that worthless excuse of an existence could have destroyed the likes of me.

The Battle With Grendel

I got the information that I need. I have learned that even the beast has honor. He uses no weapon. And since I am a man of honor, I to will use no weapon. I have also learned that he attacks the mead hall of this kingdom only at night, a suitable setting for a dark spawn of murder itself. So now I’m laying here in the mead hall. It’s night and its very quiet… wait I hear a faint sound in the distance… it’s getting closer, and it sounds like footsteps. The mead hall door has just opened and the monster is walking towards me and my men. I can now smell the foul stench of the monsters wet, muddy fur. He isn’t quite close enough to attack yet, but he has killed on of my men and is drinking his blood. Now he’s right beside me. He’s grabbed me, now’s my chance… The fight is over. I easily won. I grabbed his arm and twisted it backwards, eventually tearing the flesh apart and snapping the bone at the shoulder. The murderous beast has run off and will bleed out before he has a chance to reach his godforsaken marsh.

Voyage to Denmark

I, Beowulf, have recently heard of the evil scum, known as Grendel, which stalks the mash of Denmark. His very presence has the marsh water black, and light up as though it were burning like a torch. He has harassed the kingdom of Denmark, and forced the people of that kingdom into hiding for their lives for twelve straight winters. I'm on a ship heading to Denmark to learn more of the situation. And, if what I’ve heard is true, then I plan to destroy the monster by ripping his body parts off, and beating him to death with them. Well, maybe that's extreme, but i do plan to exterminate his existence, and return peace and well-being to the people of Denmark. People will finally be able to go back to their lives, without fear of them or their families getting harmed, or worse, murdered by the hands of this foul beast. Even the peasants will have a positive reassurance on life, although they have nearly nothing. And, in completing my task, I will receive all of the glory that I do so rightfully deserve. I refused to die and not be remembered as the warrior that Wyrd has planned for me to be…. We have just arrive on the shores of Denmark. Time to find out the information that I need.
